About Glushkov

Victor Glushkov (August 24, 1923, Rostov-on-Don – January 30, 1982, Kiev) – an outstanding Soviet scientist, academician of the USSR (1964), one of the pioneers of Russian cybernetics. Under his leadership in 1966 developed the first personal computer MIR-1 (machine engineering calculations).
